The Mumbai Indiefilm Society has announced the official selection for the 7th edition of the Mumbai Indiefilm Festival — one of the few festivals in India built specifically for indie and low-budget filmmakers, founded under Badrinaath Sabat’s push to give serious, small-scale work a genuine shot at recognition.
True to form, this edition stays minimalist by design: no spectacle, just a jury with real credibility and a selection process that’s earned a reputation for backing storytelling over scale.
Breathless Filmblog will be covering the full lineup and screening dates as they’re announced. If your film made the cut, tell us — we want to hear how you got there.
